Map & Data Analyst (Part-time Position)
About The Position
Eye-Net Mobile is a technology product company, engaged in the design and development of cellular-based V2X (vehicle-to-everything) accident prevention solutions.
Eye-Net is designed to provide real-time pre-collision alerts to vehicles and vulnerable road users (pedestrians, cyclists, scooter drivers) by using smartphones and relying on existing cellular networks.
Job Description:
- The Map & Data Analyst will join the R&D team and take part in data analysis and validation tasks related to our core product in the field of road accident prevention.
- Use proprietary map analysis tools, validate results visually and programmatically.
- Work with the R&D team to design new requirements for our analysis tools.
- Part time job (60%) - 3 days a week in the office. Report to the system engineer.
Requirements
Technical knowledge:
- Technical background - mandatory
- Familiarity with python - major advantage
- Familiarity with OpenStreetMap data - advantage
Qualifications:
- Computer/ data science student - major advantage
- Experience in a startup environment - advantage
Personal skills:
- A can-do attitude and multi-tasking ability
- Attention to details
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High motivation and Team-oriented
- Works collaboratively with other as well as able to operate highly independently
Other:
- Willing to commute to Park Ha’ Mada Rehovot (has train access)
- Fluent in Hebrew and English- speaking and writing
